Trick or Treat?

I have a confession...I love Halloween!

The smell of fall in the air, pumpkin rolls, candy corn, chocolate, and latex masks all do my heart good.

Think about it! Halloween can be messy and no one cares! What other holiday can make that boast?  

And I mean messy as in squashy and slimy, feeling a goblins ear or  Frankensteins guts or smashing a pumpkin (your own, not your neighbors). 

I don't mean messy as in family situations; those come with other holidays like Valentine's, Thanksgiving and Christmas. 

I guess you can make Halloween messy family-wise if you dress up like Aunt Lou who is barefoot and pregnant or Uncle Mac is always barefoot and looks pregnant.

Dressing up is the best part!

Here is a list of costumes I've worn:

• Grandma witch
  
• Pregnant hunter all deck out in orange (neither me nor my kids got lost)
  
• Grandma Alga
  
• Band member (I can't wear that again!  All of Central Elem. saw me in that!)
  
• Pippy Longstockings
  

AND last year I was dressed up as Garth...dressed up.

This year I am stumped.

So I am going to let the public decide this year!

The highest voted costume wins and I will wear it this year!
