I let DD8 stay up later than usual with me last night. We watched part of "Elf" together. I love that movie! It makes me laugh. Will Farrell is perfect as Buddy. I told DD8 that "Elf" is one of my favorite Christmas movies. I asked what her favorite movie was and she said "Polar Express".
I asked other kids in my home and carpool what their favorite movies were and this is the response, "Dunno."
Apparently, we need to get the Christmas movies out and start watching!
I gave them ideas and these movies came forth as favorites: "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", "It's a Wonderful Life", "Miracle on 34th Street",
How about classic, comedy Christmas movies? ""Christmas Story" and "Scrooged" come to mind.
DH likes to watch the old Christmas cartoons like "Rudolph, the Red Nose Reindeer" and "Frosty the Snowman".
Have any of you heard of "Christmas List" or "A Boyfriend for Christmas"? Those are two movies I love to watch during the seasons. "Christmas Wish" is another good, family movie.

I'm a fan of _Christmas Story_. I don't care who you are, "You'll shoot your eye out" or the "leg lamp and the glow of electric sex". That is classic funny stuff.

I like the pink bunny pjs and the scene where the mom gets the younger bother to eat his dinner by calling him a pig.
I LOVE Christmas Wish. The Christmas Shoes is also a good one....have the tissues out. Really any hallmark movie is a tear jerker.
Have you ever watched, "The Christmas List"? LOVE IT.
