I didn't realize how many advertisements were on my family blog. So today I will update with family stuff:
DH-BUSY. That is the word for Mr. RHRM, bishop counselor, Kiwanis President and MBA student. Oh yeah! And dad, husband, brother, son. He bought a day planner lat week to keep up with everything. One activity he is really good at is taking his lovely wife on a date every week.
DDTeen-"Bye Bye Birdie" is finally over! It was very well down and cute but the practices that going along with such a production are a little draining. DDT is now trying her hand, or feet, at track. She's going to compete in the 800 and long jump.
ScoutBoy-Gets mostly A's and a few B's with little to no effort. I encouraged him to take honors classes next year. We counted up how many days he'll be gone this summer to scouting camps: 39! His summer is shot if he looks at it as not being lazy at home with the rest of us. Or his summer will be totally awesome with TONS of learning experiences. Plus, he gets to go to Gettysburg.
Dimples-Smiles. Reads. Loves school and her glasses. She says her personal prayers in the morning and gives me lots of kisses before she goes to bed (one on the nose, forehead and each cheek).
BusyBoy-I realized I was not giving the youngest child the attention he needed. Now that I'm more sensitive to his needs, he smiles and laughs more and hits his sister less. He is too smart for his mom! Plus, he's kind to his friends. His friend broke his arm at school and BB helped him get up and to the playground person.
Me-Well, I'm trying to balance my home responsibilities with really wanting to sit and write. I'll let you know how that all works out. I'm trying to get my chores down early enough that when the kids are in school I can write until they come home. Then I'm off the ocmputer and tuned back into family for the evening.
