The Hopeful Gardener

I planted more in the garden today. I've enjoyed this 'chore' more in the last two years than ever in my *ahem* young life, Thanks to E. Gordon Wells.
He taught anyone in our stake who wanted to learn all about gardening. I learned TONS and will be ever grateful to him.
One bit of advice From Brother Wells was to keep a gardening journal. I snorted. Like I had time, I thought.
But this year I wish I had written down the plants I bought last year. Ones that worked, ones that didn't.
A few family and friends have asked about my garden and I've given, I'm sure, much unwanted advice.
So, I'm going to post my gardening journey on this blog, thus, giving the advice no one asked for and keeping a journal.

Thus, the first post:
I tried peas this year. I personally don't think this veggie is worth planting unless eaten straight from the garden. It would take many, many plants to make a cooked side dish.
Peas can be planted as early as March 15 for spring planting and again at the end of June for fall.

I planted one plant: "Super Sugar Snap."
Smiles plant "Sugar Sprint" seeds in the same 3'x4' row.
The plants only need watered once a week in cool weather.
