Recession

So, we are being told we are in a recession.  I would like the people who are dooming and glooming us to march right down to the University Mall and tell the mob of shoppers we are in a recession!  I have not seen that mall so busy in months and months.  It looked like the week before Christmas!   DH and I started looking for shopping bags and I will admit a little over a 1/3 of the shoppers had purchased some trinket.  But still!  They were spending money!  It was amazing and maybe a relief to see the mall so busy!
