Of all the above authors, only one is NOT LDS. Surprised? Me too. I had avoided reading LDS novels/novelists for various reasons. Then I signed up for a LDS writing conference and made a goal to read LDS novels/authors until then. I was pleasantly surprised to find TONS of great books. Give the LDS books/authors a chance. I believe you will be as surprised as I was. And now that I am writing a book geared to LDS readers, I hope you will give me a chance! :)
