We took the whole family and stuffed ourselves full!
When the hostess seated us we went through the kitchen, which is standard procedure for every diner. It was loud and busy and I can't imagine having dinner in there. We walked through a few rooms and up a set of stairs to our table. The walls are covered with pictures of famous Italians, landscapes, medals, flags, everything Italian. Even a few bare bums (you've been warned!).
One of the rooms had a huge, round table with the bust of a Pope on it.
The restaurant is family style meaning big bowls and plates are brought in and everyone shares.
On the way home, Scouter announced that is where he wants to have his next birthday party. He wants to either eat with the Pope's head or in the kitchen. By the time we got home he decided to invite a couple of friends and eat in the kitchen. Have mercy! I can't imagine three to four teens sitting in the kitchen creating everyone who walks by!

I LOVE that place...meatballs to die for!! There is also the Cardinals' room...and i don't mean the baseball team. We got to eat in that room with my family and my sister's family and my parents when they were here last time. Fun fun fun!!
